Laura Florea

Managing Partner

Laura has 14 years of experience in lobbying, public affairs, corporate communication and corporate social responsibility. She worked for the first 7 years with Central Europe Consulting lobbying agency as a Senior Director, and then as a Director of Corporate Affairs with A&D Pharma, the leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and retailer in Romania. Since the beginning of 2008, she leads Point Public Affairs.

She has developed and implemented public affairs and communication strategies for major multinationals based in Romania or overseas. Her expertise covers an excellent knowledge of the political market and legislative decision making processes at all levels of authority. She has led successful public affairs & lobbying campaigns in various sectors, such as the beer sector, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, media & advertising, soft drinks, environment, real estate, and others;

She has a degree in Romanian and English language and literature, Business Administration and Law. She is an attorney at law since 2005, being a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Ileana Neamtu

Partner

Ileana has a very strong knowledge and understanding of the public administration processes, as she worked for 4 years, until 2005, with the Government of Romania, as a Counselor within the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Starting 2006, she worked as a public affairs & government relations manager with A&D Pharma, being one of the best Romanian experts in the pharmaceutical regulatory field.

Ileana has a BA in Sociology and Social Assistance at University of Bucharest, MA Degree in South Eastern European Studies, at Faculty of Political Science, National and Kapodistrian, University of Athens, she is a PhD student in Sociology, University of Bucharest, Faculty of Sociology and Social Assistance, and she is currently a Law School Student at the Romanian American University, Bucharest.

Liviu Fatu

Senior Advisor

Liviu has been leading the legal research & strategy team of Point Public Affairs since the establishment of the agency. As an attorney at law since 1997, Liviu is the senior partner of Liviu Fatu Law Firm.

He has been counseling public institutions since 1998, most of them in the health system. However, his initial specialization in the health system gave him a unique perspective in constitutional and administration law, as well as in public acquisitions and competition law. He also has a well-known professional expertise in the field of legislation drafting, with over 20 adopted laws.

Codrin Scutaru

Senior Consultant

Codrin worked for more than 5 years as Counselor at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Policy Adviser to the Minister of Labor and Counselor to the State Secretary for Education. As an expert in public policies and administration, he represented the Government of Romania at several official meetings with the European Commission and other international organizations.

He was a member in the team responsible for the elaboration of The Joint Inclusion Memorandum of Romania, national strategy on social inclusion, signed by The European Commission and The Romanian Government in June 2005.

Since 2007 he has been a consultant specialized in public sector, business development, strategic planning and communication and political consultancy.

Codrin holds a MA degree in Strategic Management from the same University. He has a BA both in Political Science (2003) and a BA in Law (2006) and is currently a PhD candidate and Teaching Assistant in Sociology at the University of Bucharest.

Mirela Podoiu

Mirela is a valuable member of our legal team, being an attorney at law since 2008 with our partners, Liviu Fatu Law Firm. Her contribution focuses on conducting legal and regulatory researches.

She graduated Law school at Bucharest University in 2007 and Theology Faculty in 1998.
