Laura Florea

Managing Partner

Laura has 16 years of experience in lobbying, public affairs, corporate communication and corporate social responsibility. She worked for the first 7 years with Central Europe Consulting lobbying agency as a Senior Director, and then as a Director of Corporate Affairs with A&D Pharma, the leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and retailer in Romania. Since the beginning of 2008, she leads Point Public Affairs.

She has developed and implemented public affairs and communication strategies for major multinationals based in Romania or overseas. Her expertise covers an excellent knowledge of the political market and legislative decision making processes at all levels of authority. She has led successful public affairs & lobbying campaigns in various sectors, such as the beer sector, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, media & advertising, soft drinks, environment, real estate, and others.

She has a degree in Romanian and English language and literature, Business Administration and Law. She is an attorney at law since 2005, being a member of the Bucharest Bar.

Ileana Neamtu

Executive Partner

Ileana has a very strong knowledge and understanding of the public administration processes, as she worked for 4 years, until 2005, with the Government of Romania, as a Counselor within the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Starting 2006, she worked as a public affairs & government relations manager with A&D Pharma, being one of the best Romanian experts in the pharmaceutical regulatory field.

Ileana has a BA in Sociology and Social Assistance at University of Bucharest, MA Degree in South Eastern European Studies, at Faculty of Political Science, National and Kapodistrian, University of Athens, and she is a graduate of the Law School at the Romanian American University, Bucharest.

Liviu Fatu

Legal Affairs Group Leader

Liviu has been leading the legal research & strategy team of Point Public Affairs since the establishment of the agency. As an attorney at law since 1997, Liviu is the senior partner of Liviu Fatu Law Firm.

He has been counseling public institutions since 1998, most of them in the health system. However, his initial specialization in the health system gave him a unique perspective in constitutional and administration law, as well as in public acquisitions and competition law. He also has a well-known professional expertise in the field of legislation drafting, with over 20 adopted laws.

Irina Siminenco

Public Affairs Consultant

Irina is a Political Science Bachelor (University of Bucharest – Faculty of Political Science, English Section) and a graduate of King’s College London after successfully completing her MA in European Public Policy.

She has five years’ experience in public institutions, working for the Embassy of Poland in Bucharest, within the Embassy of Romania in Warsaw, the Romanian Cultural Institute in Warsaw and the Romanian Diplomatic Institute.

Irina has received a wide range of awards and scholarships, among which Orizonturi Deschise grant (Dinu Patriciu Foundation), The Ratiu Grant (Ratiu Family Charity Foundation) and Erasmus Grant (University of Warsaw – Institute of Political Science).

Bogdan Dima

Political & Public Affairs Consultant

Bogdan Dima is a PhD student of the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest, where he is also teaching Administrative Law since 2007. He is a graduate of the same Faculty and has Bachelor and Master Degrees in European Law from Collège Juridique Franco-Roumain d’Etudes Européennes de Bucarest, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

His professional background and expertise are highly diversified focusing mainly on political strategy, legislative analysis and institutional building processes.

Bogdan worked closely with several political parties and Romanian politicians, he participated as a law expert in European funded projects and he is member of the "Commission for a New Constitution", a group of independent professors, journalists and NGO’s members, which aim is to raise public awareness about constitutional change and institutional performance in post-EU integrated Romania.

Christine Demeter

Public Affairs Consultant

Christine Demeter has over 10 years of experience in economic development, public finance, financial management, public administration and public policy. Her professional expertise includes consultancy on regional and international programs and projects, working as financial and grants manager for United States Agency for International Development, World Bank, Romanian Government and under the South East European Stability Pact.

Christine has a MA in Financial Audit and Counseling from the Academy of Economic Studies and she did her post – graduate studies in Public Finance and Public Financial Management at Martin School of Public Policy and Administration, Kentucky University, USA (East and Central Europe Scholarship Program, Georgetown University/USAID Scholarship) and in Public finance and Policies for Developing Countries at International Summer University at the Academic Training Association, University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She is a PhD student in Management at the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest.

Loredana Simulescu

Public Affairs Consultant

Loredana holds a Master degree in Consultancy and Expertise in Public Action at Institute of Political Sciences of Toulouse (2010).

Her expertise in institutional communication, lobbying and public affairs was gained in five years of experience both in agency communication and public relations (V+O Communication and Saatchi &Saatchi) and institutions and companies such as the Romanian Embassy in Paris and Sanofi Aventis France.

Loredana has managed various international cooperation programs and participated in implementation of several projects in collaboration with European Associations for Health and the Health Department of European Commission.

Raluca Constantin

Corporate Communication Consultant

She has over 10 years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations and Communication field. Before joining Point Public Affairs in 2010, she was Marketing Manager for Avrig 35 Group, one of the leading real estate developers in Romania, and Marketing & Communication Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania where she worked on different local, regional and international projects.

Raluca holds a degree in Cybernetics and Statistics from the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest.

Cristina Margarit

Legislative Monitoring Consultant

She has an extensive experience in multinational companies and organisations: Oracle, OMV, A&D Pharma, ARPIM, Foreign Investors Council.

Cristina has a BA in Economics with Economic Sciences Academy, Bucharest and a MA degree in Project Management at the Ecologic University.

Mirela Podoiu

Legal Affairs Consultant

Mirela is a valuable member of our legal team, being an attorney at law since 2008 with our partners, Liviu Fatu Law Firm. Her contribution focuses on conducting legal and regulatory researches.

She graduated Theology Faculty in 1998, Law school at Bucharest University in 2007 and National Institute for Lawyers’ Professional Development in 2009. She is attending the MA Business Law program.

Alexandra Rosca

Legal Affairs Consultant

Alexandra is a member of our legal team, being an attorney at law since 2007 and part of our team starting with 2011. Her contribution focuses on commercial, labour, litigation law. Before joining our team, she worked as a lawyer at Musat & Associates and Hammond Bogaru & Associates.

She graduated Titu Maiorescu Law School in 2005, ASE Bucharest – Faculty of Finance, Insurance, Banks and Stocks Exchange - Post University Course on European Economy and Finance in 2007 and National Institute for Lawyers’ Professional Development in 2008.

Mihaela Chirita

Office Manager

Mihaela has more than 10 years experience in office administration, particularly in the administration of foreign company’s representative offices in Romania. She has a strong knowledge and understanding of setting up and running this kind of offices, working for Israeli and British subsidiary offices.

Before joining our team, she worked as Office Manager for Intelcan Technosystems Inc. Romanian Branch– a Canadian leader in Communications, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS) Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Airport Infrastructure solutions.

She holds a university degree in Land improvement and engineering of environment from University of Agronomical Sciences of Bucharest and a MA degree in Enterprise Management from Bucharest Polytechnic Institute.
