Our task was clear: to prevent the draft bill from passing and safeguard the private educational publishing sector.
Solution:
To combat the draft bill, we devised a strategic approach that included: – Coordinating communication between publishers and teachers, who were united in their opposition to the bill. – Building a strong legal case, highlighting the constitutional issues with the proposed law. – Forming a coalition of opposition, including the National Liberal Party and the Save Romania Union, who took the matter to the Constitutional Court.
Results:
The strategy proved successful. The Constitutional Court ruled the draft bill unconstitutional and subsequently quashed it, preserving the viability of the private educational publishing industry in Romania.

Year : 2018-2019
Challenge: In 2018, the Ministry of Education initiated a draft bill for a single manual to be provided by the state-owned Editura Tehnică și Pedagogică. If passed, the bill would have eliminated the private educational publishing industry in Romania, posing a significant threat to market diversity and competition.
