All.Can International
Brief::
All.Can Romania, part of the global All.Can International initiative, was launched to enhance the efficiency, accessibility, and quality of cancer care. Bringing together pharmaceutical leaders, patient associations, medical societies, and policymakers, the initiative fosters evidence-based solutions for a more effective oncology system.
Solution:
To address these challenges, All.Can Romania pursued several key initiatives:
– Strategic Policy Development: A comprehensive patient survey assessed cancer care experiences, highlighting gaps in diagnosis, multidisciplinary care, and financial burdens. The findings informed a White Paper with concrete policy recommendations.
– Stakeholder Engagement: The White Paper was launched at a National Forum, gathering policymakers, healthcare professionals, and patient associations to discuss next steps.
– Resource Optimization Plan (2024): Data was collected, an expert in healthcare macroeconomics was engaged, and a draft plan was developed with member feedback. A technical debate with healthcare authorities preceded a final presentation at year-end.
– Growing the Initiative: In 2024, All.Can Romania expanded to 11 members, welcoming the National Society for Medical Oncology in Romania (scientific partner) and Rayscape CXR (AI-powered radiology platform).
Results:
– Policy Impact: The White Paper shaped key policy discussions on improving the cancer patient journey and sector sustainability.
– Stronger Collaboration: Decision-makers, medical experts, and patient organizations joined forces to drive meaningful oncology reform.
– Expansion & Influence: The coalition grew significantly within a year, reinforcing its role as a leading voice in oncology efficiency.
– Sustained Commitment: In 2024, efforts continue to optimize resource efficiency and improve patient access to high-quality cancer care.
